Holly

"I took this paper because I wanted to develop quantitative skills after having spent 2 full years writing essays and avoiding any and all numbers. I thought this would be beneficial because I am about to start a MSc in Development Studies, and being able to engage critically with statistical claims is essential in this field. This skills I have learned in this course will be no doubt useful for my masters but also for a career. While I was originally apprehensive that this course would be too difficult, I found the chance to look at problems from a different perspective very refreshing and the content was ultimately manageable and accessible. I'd highly recommend this course to all! I am very grateful to CUQM/Sage for this prize."
